Start right: capture reality, set the rules and de‑risk the brief. Predictable delivery starts from day one. We offer a structured approach – combining information strategy, early reality capture and spatial insight – to make that possible.
Our digital engineering team provides ISO 19650‑aligned BIM advisory and information management, while our geospatial and drone specialists support feasibility through topographical surveys, utility mapping and verification, virtual tours and 2D/3D measured surveys. This gives teams dependable information before design moves forward.

Make design delivery predictable. FLOW brings clarity to complex, interdisciplinary design – helping teams plan work, spot issues early and stay aligned. BIM coordination and data insight support faster, better decisions.
FLOW helps teams plan and streamline work, agree the right sequence, track progress through simple dashboards and adapt quickly when issues arise – like moving from a static plan to a live navigation system. Our digital engineering specialists manage risk and collaboration through BIM, data management and analytics, and integrated environments that connect programme, model quality and coordination insight. When needed, Scan‑to‑BIM, Scan‑to‑2D and geospatial inputs keep decisions grounded in accurate, as‑existing information.

Surveys to inform design
See what’s happening — then act. We connect programme, model and site reality through 4D planning, coordination and data environments, powered by drone capture for progress, QA and safer inspections.
On site, we help teams connect what’s being built with what’s planned, so progress, quality and risk are clear and easy to act on. Our drone service provides live and recorded imagery/video, inspections, quality assurance, progress monitoring, 360° tours and specialist data capture, including thermographic and infrared – supporting safer access and stronger evidence. We combine this with 4D planning, BIM coordination and shared data, giving insight across programme, model and CDE performance. Together, this creates a feedback loop between site activity and decision-making.

Surveys to report on progress
From handover to long-term value. Disconnected asset and spatial data creates gaps and outdated records. We bring clarity through GIS and digital engineering – backed by repeatable drone and survey data.
In operation, we focus on making asset information organised, connected and easy to act on. Our digital engineering and GIS teams help owners and operators bring together spatial, asset and estate data to improve insight, support compliance and unlock long-term value. Our geospatial and drone outputs – including 3D point clouds and mesh models, orthomosaic maps, interactive site tours and specialist surveys – provide up‑to‑date asset evidence that carries beyond handover. Where needed, we support estate systems integration (including CAFM linking for work tickets), so information moves from stored to working in day-to-day operations.

Museum of London £332 million project value Grade II listed
The Museum of London’s move to West Smithfield is the largest investment in its 200-year history and one of Europe’s largest cultural projects. It will restore historic market buildings and create a new museum celebrating London’s story. We are delivering BIM and coordination services, supporting the project from concept through to handover across a six-year programme. We’ve helped define the BIM strategy, set clear information requirements, validate survey data and establish compliant processes across a complex historic setting. We have also supported procurement of the Common Data Environment and kept information flowing with an interim solution. Our collaborative, digital-first approach has reduced risk ahead of tender and ensured deliverables support the museum’s long-term goals.

All Souls College Above-ground surveys Heritage buildings CDE-compatible
All Souls College required comprehensive above‑ground survey data to support the ongoing refurbishment and development of its historic Oxford campus. We captured accurate as‑built information, digitised existing records and assessed building layouts, site constraints and condition across 15th-17th century structures. All survey outputs were delivered fully compatible with the Common Data Environment. Our in‑house geospatial, building surveying, MEP and sustainability teams provided the integrated insight needed to inform feasibility studies for internal refurbishments, window replacements, access routes and enabling works.
European Spallation Source, Sweden £1.7 billion project value Pan-European research campus 25 coordinated buildings £2-3 million cost savings
We provided project and programme delivery services for a complex £1.7 billion pan‑European research campus in Sweden, leading stakeholder engagement, integrated design scheduling and progress reporting. We introduced a clear, consistent approach to managing workflow across 25 buildings, including reporting to a European sponsor board. Milestone alignment workshops secured costs and contracts early, while scenario planning helped protect the ‘beam on target’ date. Over three years, we achieved around £2–3 million in soft‑cost savings and gave the client clear oversight of design, procurement and key milestones.
University of Warwick Roof condition surveys Drone surveys ArcGIS digital reporting Digital estates management
The University of Warwick appointed Ridge to carry out drone-led roof condition surveys, selecting our digital‑first approach over lower‑cost bids. All outputs needed to be compatible with ArcGIS, so our building surveying team developed a bespoke drone‑capture and reporting application compatible with the University’s platform, enabling survey data to integrate directly with estates systems. We created a tailored digital workflow using mobile survey tools, structured forms and a live GIS environment, bringing together imagery, condition data and asset information. This allowed around 85% of inspections to be completed remotely, reducing risk and disruption, while strengthening the University’s GIS capability and supporting a more digital approach to estate management.
